Easter Worship Sign-Up

While we continue to care for one another by following Covid-19 gathering protocols, our maximum occupancy remains at 60 people. In order to help us plan accordingly, we are asking anyone who plans to attend one of these services to fill out the reservation form linked HERE.

We look forward to seeing you! Please remember to follow the safety precautions including wearing your face mask and maintaining a 6ft distance between family groups in the sanctuary.

Ash Wednesday worship options

We know this Ash Wednesday is different, and we want to honor that by providing several ways for you to celebrate this holy day.

IN PERSON

Ayden UMC will hold an in-person Ash Wednesday worship service tonight at 7pm in the sanctuary. Worshipers are required to wear masks and maintain physical distancing protocols. Ashes will be distributed to individuals and/or family groups for self-imposition.

VIRTUAL

If you prefer to worship remotely, the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church will gather today (2/17) at 12pm noon for a virtual service.

This service can be accessed by clicking HERE

To prepare for the virtual service, please have available a container of dirt that is meaningful to you. Perhaps some from your garden, your yard, your farm, or some that you have brought back from a place of personal significance.

The NCCUMC virtual service will be available for later viewing if you are not able to join us at noon.

Grace & peace,

Pastor Jim
