Conference-Wide Easter Service

Though we cannot gather in person this Easter for worship, we have a wonderful opportunity to join together with United Methodists from across our conference in a conference-wide Easter Service.

This service will be broadcast at 9 and 11 am at live.nccumc.org. The service will include a sermon by Bishop Ward, music, and liturgy.

We have worked to provide an option for folks with no or less-than-reliable internet access to be able to call in and listen to the Easter worship service. There are two numbers available:

  • 919-629-0797 – We encourage you to use and share this number.
  • 888-514-8430 – A toll-free number to use If long-distance service is not available.

Finally, here are answers to some frequently asked questions about the Easter service. Let us know if you have any other questions by emailing communications@nccumc.org.

Will the video be available on-demand for those who cannot watch at 9 or 11 am?
The video will be available on our Vimeo channel after the scheduled service times on Easter.

Holy Thursday

Each year, we gather to celebrate Holy Thursday as a reminder of Christ instituting the Last Supper and an opportunity to fellowship with one another in the washing of feet. This year is clearly different, but just because we can’t share the body and blood of Christ in the bread and cup of communion does not mean we cannot be the Body of Christ, redeemed by his blood wherever we are.
