Resurrection Fun Run 2022

Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered for, participated in, and donated to the Inaugural 2022 Resurrection Fun Run hosted by Ayden United Methodist Church in support of Ayden Christian Care. From 2 to 92, this event is fun for all ages and open to the general public. Participants included members of Ayden United Methodist church, as well as the residents those who live in, are from or were simply passing through the beautiful town of Ayden. Despite the cloudy weather and high chance of rain the event was a huge success thanks to the amazing members of the AydenUMC Resurrection Fun Run committee and the wonderful residents of the town of Ayden.

Town of Ayden Police Department Thank you so much for ensuring the safety of our runners!
David & Jennifer Smith completed the 5k together, hand in hand. “Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up. Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm? And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (CSB)

Thank you to: Allyson Meyer, who, along with Rev. Jim McConnell and countless others continuously give of themselves to help others.
