The cross is the frame of the kite in the UMW’s quadrennial logo. The cross represents the redeeming Love of Jesus that gives us the chance to create a relationship with God. How often do we share Jesus’ redeeming love? Would you like to surprise someone you love with a special gift? For a $5 Gift to Missions, you can honor persons in whom you see the love of Jesus by their acts of service and love to others.
The “Create a Pure Heart” project honorees’ names will be displayed on a white cross that will be presented at the NC UMW annual meeting on October 10, 2009. Honorees will receive an acknowledgment card that tells them of their honor and by whom the Gift to Mission was given.
